Zlto is a digital platform designed to facilitate transparent, responsible, and accountable giving to support individuals experiencing homelessness in South Africa. We connect donors with coordinate networks (such as MiChange) and frontline implementation partners (such as MES, U-turn, and other authorized service providers) who deliver real-world support, services, and developmental pathways.


2. Acceptance and Modification of TermsEligibility:

You must be at least 18 years of age (or have valid legal parental/guardian consent) to use this website and make financial contributions.
Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

3. Donations and Financial TransactionsVoluntary Donations:

All donations made through the Zlto platform are voluntary contributions to support the causes and packages listed on the website (e.g., cleanliness packages, meals, overnight stays).
Non-Refundable: Unless otherwise required by South African consumer law or specific platform policy, all donations are final and non-refundable.
Corporate Giving & Section 18A Certificates: For corporate donors or eligible contributions where a Section 18A tax certificate is requested, you agree to provide accurate and complete company and tax information. The issuance of Section 18A certificates is subject to compliance with the South African Revenue Service (SARS) regulations and our partner status.
Third-Party Payment Processors: Financial transactions are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. Zlto does not store your full credit card or banking details directly. You agree to comply with the terms and conditions of our payment processing partners.

4. The Voucher and Service Network

Zlto operates in conjunction with coordinators (like MiChange) and implementers to issue, track, and redeem digital vouchers.

No Direct Guarantee of Outcome: While Zlto vets and partners with reputable organizations, Zlto acts as a technological enabler and facilitator. We do not directly operate every physical shelter, meal provider, or shower facility, and we are not liable for the operational delivery or availability of third-party service provider facilities.

5. User Conduct

When using the Zlto website, you agree not to:Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations (including South African law and POPIA).Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information during donation or registration processes.Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our platform, servers, user databases, or security infrastructure.Use automated systems (such as scrapers, bots, or spiders) to access the website or harvest data without explicit prior written consent.Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the website or servers.

6. Intellectual Property
